Get your workout done before work or during
lunch breaks
AND feel great the rest of the day. Betsy
and Michelle will guide you through a series of exercise "stations"
designed to build muscular and cardiovascular strength.
Fast paced, easy-in, easy-out at Glendale
YMCA's Youth Fitness Center. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7AM to
7:40AM for the AM Circuit and Mondays, 12:00 to 12:40PM for
the Lunch Circuit. Both at the ground floor of the Youth Fitness
Center.
Senior Strength Training
A great way for strength training muscles
and keeping bones healthy. Weight training is done
with hand weights. A very popular class! Don't worry about
how to begin-the helpful fitness instructor will show how
step by step. Tuesday and Thursday 10:15
am 10:45 am at the Weight Room
Flexercise A strength and stretching
class incorporating hand weights exercise tubing to sculpt
and tone your entire body. Mondays 10:30 to 11:30 AM and Thursdays
12:00 to 1:00 PM. Our instructors are Mandy and Cidinha.

Balance and Fall
Prevention
Balance and Fall Prevention for Seniors is
a program at the YMCA of Glendale during the following days
(all classes at the Youth Fitness Center):
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 - 10:00 am
Friday: 10-11:00 am
Arthritis Exercise
Program
The Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program
is a recreational exercise class designed to help address
therapeutic problems and may help achieve the following physical
goals:
Reduce pain and stiffness
Restore or maintain joint range of motion
Maintain or increase muscle strength
Improve balance and coordination
Decrease fatigue and increase endurance
Improve overall perceived health status
Classes are every Thursday, 1:00 to 2:00 PM
beginning September 16th, 2010 at the Youth Fitness Center.
