Youth & Government:
Youth & Government is a national Y Program for high school students. The
program enables young people to prepare for moral and political leadership
through training in the theory and practice of developing public policy. It
provides students with practical experience in the study of state government.
Participants will study relevant issues, draft legislation, learn how to present
their legislation in a committee and debate it on the floor of the House or
S enate. Wednesdays, 7-8:30 PM beginning October 10th at Glendale YMCA (140
North Louise St. Glendale, 91206).

YMCA of Glendale and the City of Glendale Police Activity League are pleased
to announce the PAL Boxing & Dance Youth Program. It's Boxing
on Tuesday and Thursday from 4 to 6 pm; Latin Fusion dance on Monday
and Wednesday from 4:30 to 5:30 pm, and Jazz Funk dance on Monday and

Flexercise Schedule. Our Flexercise schedule is now 7:30 to 8:30
PM (following Sam's Aerobox Class). Instructor Anne Haschka helps you to sculpt
and tone your entire body in a strenght training class that incorporates hand
weights, exercise bands and stability balls. Download

Circuit
Training! Get your workout done during lunch breaks
AND feel
great the rest of the day. Michelle will guide you through a series of exercise
"stations" designed to build muscular and cardiovascular strength.
Fast paced, easy-in, easy-out at Glendale YMCA's Youth Fitness Center. Mondays,
12:00 to 12:40PM for the Lunch Circuit. Both at the ground floor of the Youth
Fitness Center.
